Job Description:

• Work as part of a technical support team delivering a quality service to multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software products
• hands-on technical support of Oracle based production and development systems running on various platforms
• Provide expertise in Database performance tuning , capacity planning , maintenance patching and new version installation , Client installs and Spotlight / Toad
• Knowledge of all supporting infrastructure components, including operating systems, hardware / storage configurations and networks Excellent UNIX skills and a grasp of fundamental computing concepts such as system calls, memory management and program debugging.
• Work on a variety of development and maintenance projects in coordination with business owners and the data warehouse team
• Experience in customized relational database development and data warehousing is desired.
• Should have a proven ability to rapidly master complex new skills and concepts
• Successful candidate should be able to troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure. Production support with On-call rotation.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (Required),, Masters Degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Oracle database administration experience ( to include Oracle 8 and 9 ) with some SQL Plus and Unix Korn scripting fluency; RMAN ( highly desirable ) . Some Oracle Applications experience including 11i would be an advantage.
• Experience must have been gained in a production environment
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Masters Degree preferred
• Experience of any of the following is desirable Toad , Spotlight , OEM; Statspack
• Higher Level Qualification in a technical subject is desirable
• Oracle Certification is desirable but not essential

• SAP R/3 ABAP Architect (ABAP) with minimum of 5 years SAP development experience.
• 4 years of Design, alternatives identification, estimating development hours, Analysis, High Level design work for complex SD/MM/FI/CO enhancements for new implementations required.
• 4 years complex new implementation work in the required in the following within the SD/MM/FI/CO module: User Exits and Dialog Programs
• Prior knowledge and exp working with Business System Analyst: Gathers information, creates designs, determines alternatives, estimates development hours, develops & troubleshoots using ABAP to meet defined business needs in the various test and production environments.
• Creates test plans, execute positive and negative tests and validate test results.
• Interfaces/Integration, BAPI*s, BADI*s, Parallel Processing, Dialog programming, ALV, Table Control, User Exit / Customer modifications, VOFM, Custom Application Design, Performance optimization, Complex high level design, Mentoring and managing the quality of deliverables of developers.

• Master’s in Computer Science (Required)
• SAP ABAP certification or equivalent practical experience (asset)
• Proven experience in the use of the SAP reporting tools (required)
• Experience with ECC 6.0 (asset)
• Knowledge of time evaluation rulers and schema
• Experience with multiple SAP implementations for private and/or public sector clients desirable but not mandatory

• Required to recruit employees , daily involvement in operations to ensure and effective execution and co-ordination of office activity

• Minimum 2 years of working knowledge of SAP HR Module (Mandatory)
• Experience in Local business rules and legislative requirements (Mandatory)
• A track record of successful project experiences, including strong project management skills
• A willingness to learn, seek improvements, share information with peers, management and end-users
• A desire to promote positive change within the SAP HR IT Team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
